The HellHound started out life as a 1995 Dodge Ram and 1975 White RoadBoss Cab. The Dodge was stripped down to frame rails, engine and transmission. Front and back frame rails were stretched and built with custom air ride suspension. The front axle is out of a 1990 Chevy 3500 HD. Rear axles are dually Dana 70s. Custom rear fenders and deck plate were built by hand. 50s Ford 2ton cab running boards were reversed to hug the 7" stacks. Hood was built with '46 Chevy hood side panels and an old oil drum. Grill shell is a REO. Semi truck visor and front bumper were chopped and narrowed.
Stage 1 of The HellHound build included a single dually Dana 70 rearend and pickup flat bed.
Stage 2 of the build with tandem Dana 70s, front bumper, custom deck plate and fenders.
The HellHound undergoes stage 3 makeover with new paint and what a difference it made!!
We try to change up the HellHound with short deadline, and let's just say it doesn't go well.
